Transitioning Our Shelters

Most emergency and temporary homeless shelters and shelter systems are segregated by sex, as a result, homeless transgender youth and adults, in addition to the struggles any other person without a house would face, can experience extreme difficulties in obtaining adequate and safe shelter.
